Concealed within the sculpture are 23 texts contributed by 23 individuals and organisations significant to gender equality in Aotearoa. Each text is individually printed on vibrant anodized aluminium discs and placed at the core of the sculpture empowering it with human spirit and intent. They are hopes, visions, poems, demands, manifestos, calls to action. They are the voices of women, wāhine, intersex, transgender, non-binary, takatāpui, Māori, Pasifika, youth and access community.
