Monte Cecilia Park is one of Auckland’s hidden gems. A large urban park of 15 hectares, it has wide rolling lawns, huge exotic trees and a lush wetlands area. From the high points of the park you also get expansive views out to the Manukau harbour.

The park has several entrances. 

• The closest pedestrian entrance to 1001 Spheres is at 615 Mt Albert Road, near Marcellin College.

• The best option for mobility access is via the entrance at the end of Budock Road.

• The best option for parking is The Arts House Trust, Pah Homestead which has ample, free parking. The carpark entrance is via Delargey Ave, off Hillsborough Road. It is a 7-minute walk through the park to the location of 1001 Spheres.
